he elevators for people with disabilities can be installed inside and outside of residential, industrial and public buildings facilitating the movement of low-mobility citizens. This lifting equipment can be used when there is a need to raise or lower the person in the wheelchair at a height of more than 4 meters. There are two types of elevators for people with disabilities: console and mine. The main difference is in the supporting structure. In the console hoist are used one or two masts, but in mine accordingly is mine. Mine hoists are used only for vertical movement, and cantilevers can be installed and moved obliquely. For movement a person with disabilities in a wheelchair or in chair fixed to elevator are also used mobile wheelchair elevators of caterpillar type or stepped-in vehicles. Unlike a stationary elevator they do not take much space and are easily transported.
